Use of Has and Have

Introduction
There are different Helping Verbs that are used in English Language. Every Helping Verb gives the different meaning according to the Structure of the Sentence that is why there is a lot of importance of Helping Verb. Today we are going to discuss the use of Have and Has.

Use of Has and Have
The Auxiliary Verb Have/Has shows the possession of something to someone, in the Present. When we are using these helping verbs with the mainverb, it means we are having some action in the Sentence (we will discuss this thing in our further lessons).

Remember
 It is most essential to know when to use Have and Has.
  • We use the Helping Verb “Have” with the first person Subject (I), Second person Subject (You) and with all plural Subjects.
  • We use the Helping Verb “Has” with all singular Subjects (He, She, It or a singular name) except I and you, either there is Main Verb or not in the Sentence.

Formula: Subject + Have/Has + Object
